The Meredith Autism Program (MAP) provides early intervention for autistic preschoolers using Applied Behavior Analysis. MAP addresses the needs and builds on the strengths of each individual child, and provides guidance and support for family members. Meredith College welcomed approximately 400 new first-year students who make up the Class of 2021 on Move-In Day, held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017. Members of the class come from 17 states and four countries, including Croatia, Indonesia, Kenya, and Singapore.

At Meredith, all pre-health professions students receive personalized advising to guide them in scheduling courses, identifying leadership, shadowing, and community service opportunities, studying for the admissions test, and more. And the Meredith pre-health society helps students develop a network of peers with similar goals and interests.
Meredith students interested in going into the healthcare field have the unique opportunity to be a part of the Health Professions Advising Program which allows them to build an academic plan that fits with their strengths and interests, whether it’s medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant, or medical research.

Our psychology students acquire both research skills and practical skills in applied settings. In addition to internships outside of campus, Meredith offers a unique on-campus learning experience through the Meredith Autism Program (MAP). Students also have numerous opportunities to conduct research, and many go on to present their studies at regional, national, or international psychology conferences.
