About BCSSE-NSSE at Meredith
Fall 2010 incoming first-year students took the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE), which measures student characteristics, high school and co-curricular involvement, and expected engagement in the student's first year of college. In Spring 2011, these same students were invited to take the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) along with other first-year and senior students. The BCSSE-NSSE report below has linked the responses of our students on these two surveys for comparison of the expected and actual engagement.
