Benefit Screening of Mothers of Bedford on February 12 Bookmark and Share
Our Children's Place will host the first North Carolina screening of "Mothers of Bedford" on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. in Meredith College’s Kresge Auditorium.

The screening will benefit Our Children's Place, a non-profit agency committed to the children of incarcerated parents.

"Mothers of Bedford" is a 90-minute feature length documentary that follows five women incarcerated in the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility in New York and looks at their lives through the lens of motherhood. Find out more at mothersofbedford.com.

A Q&A session with filmmaker Jenifer McShane will follow the screening.

The screening is co-hosted by the Meredith College Sociology and Criminology Club.

For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Our Children’s Place website.
