This year, 18 students will be traveling to the United Kingdom with Meredith Abroad. Faculty members Catherine Rodgers, Liz Wolfinger, James Boyles, and Sharon Hill will be accompanying the group. The group will depart on June 28 and return on July 29.

The program is based in the heart of London, in beautiful Kensington Square. Students will experience a variety of theatre, music, dance, art, museums and historic sites.  Two extended weekend breaks will afford students the opportunity to explore life beyond London independently.

The program provides students with an introduction to the culture of the United Kingdom with a focus on arts and science. Courses include Arts, Artifacts and Culture, Microbes and Society and the Focused Gaze.

While they are abroad, Meredith students will be sending frequent reflections in a journal format. These entries will be posted on the website regularly so that the Meredith community can track the travelers' progress. Be sure to check back often to see where they are and what they are doing.
