Our group, Eat, Play, Design, has been in Sansepolcro for almost a week now. This town is so beautiful and the citizens here are so nice. Since being in this town, I have experimented with speaking the Italian. The locals are very helpful in helping me learn their language. For example, a chef at a local restaurant speaks a little English and he is very helpful in making sure my friends and I speak his language correctly. Even though I do not know him very well, he waved to my friends and me when he saw us out on a field trip with our class. This is just one example of how welcoming and friendly the locals have made me feel.
