Meredith's efforts to increase global awareness are not limited to students. The College also aims to provide faculty and staff with opportunities to experience other cultures. One such program is the College's faculty exchange program at Dongbei University in Dalian, China.

Meredith faculty members from varied disciplines have participated in this exchange, through which a Meredith faculty member teaches as a visiting professor in Dalian. In return, Dongbei University sends a faculty member to Meredith each spring to teach introductory Chinese and a course on modern China.

This year, Frank Rogers is participating in the China exchange program.
