Datatel Datatel’s Colleague is the administrative software package used on campus by most administrative offices. Colleague houses Student Information, Human Resources, and Financial Data. Access Employees are given access to Colleague based on the responsibilities of their office. Web Advisor or Informer will usually meet the needs of those needing inquiry only access. Requests for access to Colleague should be made by the department head to the responsible manager for that data. Listing of responsible managers Support The Information Systems Team is responsible for all maintenance and support of Colleague. For questions, training, and issues regarding Colleague, call 8989 or email infosys@meredith.edu. Training Training for the use of Colleague will be provided as requested. This training provides a general overview and training in common areas. It does not provide instruction on how to use screens or procedures specific to any office. Each office is responsible for providing training for their processes. Programming Changes Programming changes, report creation and new project requests should be submitted using the Information Systems Request Form.The form must be completed by the director/department head of the office making the request. The form may be submitted electronically via the above form or printed (PDF) and sent to the Information Systems Team (109 Noel House), with a copy sent also to the appropriate vice president. Any questions regarding the request that cannot be resolved by the submitting department head and the Information Systems Team will be addressed promptly by the Information Systems Committee.
