The Rules and regulations governing the laptop program are defined by the Laptop Policy. All students, or a parent/guardian if the student is younger than 18, will be required to sign the Student Program Agreement.

Laptop Ownership: The laptop will become the property of the student if they acheive an undergraduate degree, or complete a professional under-graduate program such as a second degree/professional certificate, and have been enrolled for a minimum of two full time semesters.

Personal Laptop Use: If students desire to use their own laptop, IBM compatible or Macintosh, either because they don't qualify for the program or prefer to use their own equipment, Meredith College will provide access the Meredith wireless community and printing support for the campus Pharos printing system.

Support for personal laptops is limited to Meredith network access issues and printing issues. Students will be required to have proper id before support is provided.

Software that is installed on a Meredith Laptop can not be transfered to a students personal laptop. It is highly recommended that elibible students participate in the program.
