FAQs
What is CoursEval?
CoursEval is the web-based software that Meredith College uses for course evaluations. Course evaluations are done in the fall and spring semesters. Courses that end mid-semester or earlier are evaluated before the end of the term. The course evaluation process is completely anonymous and your feedback is valued. Instructors cannot view summary results or comments from their evaluations until final grades have been submitted.
How will I know when I have an evaluation to take?
An e-mail is sent to your Meredith College e-mail address when you have a survey to complete. Reminders are also sent. Emails contain your User Name and Password. Please note you must be on campus to access course evaluations.

What if I do not get an e-mail?
If you are taking a course with four or more students enrolled, you should receive an e-mail to let you know you have course evaluations. Try logging into CoursEval to see if you have active surveys. If you still do not see any evaluations, please send a email to Karen Brenneman.
Is what I say on my evaluation really anonymous?
Yes. The system can only tell if you filled out a course evaluation or not. It cannot link your responses with your login information. Electronic course surveys can also prevent someone from recognizing your handwriting in the comments section. Meredith College only evaluates courses with 4 or more students to guarantee anonymity.
Who can see evaluation results?
Evaluation results are not released until final grades have been submitted. Once grades are in, professors, Department Heads, Deans, Academic Vice-Presidents, and the College President can see summary reports and all comments. There is not a way to view feedback associated with an individual student.
Can a student fill out more than one evaluation for a course?
No. Once you submit the survey, it will no longer show up in your list of active surveys.
I did not fill out my course evaluation surveys before the deadline. Can I get to them?
Unfortunately once an evaluation period has closed, students can no longer access surveys for that term. Many reminders are sent prior to closing the survey. Please note you must be on campus to access course evaluations.
Why can't I access CoursEval from off-campus?
Faculty feels it is important to take course evaluations in class; therefore, CoursEval can only be accessed on campus. There are occasionally short periods where evaluations are accessible from off-campus for on-line and study abroad courses
