Email Passwords Must Be Changed
In order to upgrade the security of our current email system we must increase the complexity of the email password that all account holders use. All faculty/staff and students will need to change their password before September 2nd. On September 3rd all accounts without the new requirements will be automatically locked and access will not be granted unless you come in-person with photo ID to the Help Desk.
After the upgrade all email passwords must be:
- At least 6 characters in length
- And not to exceed 30 characters
- Must contain at least 1 lower case letter
- Must contain at least 1 capital letter
- Must contain at least 1 number
- Must contain at least 1 special character
- Can not contain white space
Acceptable special characters are: [! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + } { " : ' ? / > . < ; , ]
Examples of acceptable passwords are as follows:

Abr!28e
Go4!tt1
