Residence Hall Recycling Locations at Meredith

Recent changes for improved campus recycling (2009):

• Placed outdoor recycling centers next to trash cans.
• Made available recycling baskets for every residence hall. Students are responsible for taking their own trash and recycling out, facilitated by bin pairs outside. Baskets should remain in the room at move out.
• Distributed baskets for faculty and staff. If you need a basket contact Patty Blackwell in Facilities 919.760.8560.
• Tailored a presentation to be made at hall meetings on the campus recycling program. If you're interested in hosting this presentation on your hall, contact Carrie Stinchcomb.
• Hired a Recycling and Solid Waste intern through the Sustainability Office to help monitor and make changes to the system. Contact Carrie Stinchcomb, mailto:stinchco@meredith.edu, with residence hall recycling questions.
• Submit further questions, suggestions, and ideas.
