2010 Green Building Council Volunteer Day for Builders of Hope

The Triangle USGBC 2010 Volunteer Day with Builders of Hope is October 16, 2010. This will be a fun and educational day devoted to promote green development in low-income neighborhoods. There will be affordable-themed green education sessions, hands on construction at the Builders of Hope State Street project which is seeking LEED for Homes Silver certification, and a permaculture charrette for pen spaces at the development. Participants can create their own day of activities depending on interests. The event is free, and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required.
