Cooperative Education
Cooperative Education is education based upon a cooperative arrangement between Meredith College, students and employers. A Co-op is designed to integrate academic study with paid career-related job experiences.

COE-302 Cooperative Education (1–4 credit hours)
Supervised professional employment related to student career goals alternating with or paralleling academic study. Students must have sophomore standing and a minimum GPA of 2.00 in order to enroll. The number of hours credit is determined by the number of hours worked. Enrollment requires the signature and consent of the Director of Cooperative Education to enroll in the course. A maximum of 8 hours may be earned in COE 302 and COE 403 combined. Pass/Fail grading only. This course fulfills the General Education experiential learning requirement.
COE-403 Cooperative Education (1–4 credit hours)
Supervised professional employment related to student career goals. The number of credit hours is determined by the number of hours worked. The signature and consent of the Director of Cooperative Education is required before enrolling in this course. A maximum of 8 hours may be earned in COE 302 and COE 403 combined. Pass/Fail grading only. Prerequisite: COE 302. This course fulfills the General Education experiential learning requirement.
