Poteat Hall has two different room styles. Those on the ground floor differ slightly from those on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. Scroll down for specific information about and photos of ground floor rooms.

Poteat Floors 1-3

• Rooms measure 11’6” wide by 21’ long
• Rooms are suite-style: two rooms share a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
• Each room on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of Poteat is equipped with built-in furniture and tile flooring.
• Mattresses for the twin beds measure 76” x 36” and are 21” from the floor. This is a standard twin mattress. Because of the bed frame, nothing can be stored under the bed.
• Each room has a window that measures 50” wide by 44” tall. Windows are equipped with window coverings (blinds).
• Each floor has a parlor, kitchen, and laundry facilities.

• Closet: 57”W x 27”D
• Desk: 42”W x 24”D x 29”H
• Shelves above desk: 11.25”D
• Drawers: 23.5”W x 23.5”D x 42”H; each drawer is 10”H (4 drawers)

Beds are built in and slide out (left bed pushed in, right bed pulled out).

Ground Floor Poteat

*Rooms on the Ground Floor of Poteat are numbered 001 to 008, and they are slightly different than rooms on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.*

• Rooms measure 11’9” wide by 21’ long.
• Community bathroom facilities are located on the hall with 3 showers, 2 stalls, sinks, and storage available for a maximum of 15 residents.
• Each room on the Ground floor of Poteat is equipped with moveable beds; a moveable bookcase; built-in desks, dressers, and closets; and tile flooring.

• Mattresses for the twin beds measure 76” x 36” and are 21” from the floor. Because of the bed frame, nothing can be stored under the bed.
• Each room has a pair of windows that measure a total of 50” wide x 44” tall. Windows are equipped with window coverings (blinds).
• Ground floor has a parlor, kitchen, and laundry facilities.
