Welcome to the Counseling Center!
College is a time of transition, reflection, change and growth – both academic and personal. The Counseling Center is a safe place to talk about anything you want! And all of our services are free and confidential.
We offer students a safe place to work through individual challenges and stressors. We provide the following services:
- Individual, short-term counseling
- Support groups
- Crisis interventions
- Disability services
- Psychological consultation
- Outreach and training
- Resources and referral
Our staff members respect and work with all students. We honor diversity of culture, color, religion, gender identity, size and disabilities. We participate in the SafeZone program. We also provide information and referral services for staff and faculty.

The Counseling Center/Disability Services are committed to providing confidential, culturally-competent and evidence-based counseling and disability services to students. Our philosophy encourages students' empowerment, the development of individual strengths, greater independence, and self-advocacy.

How to Contact Us
If you are a faculty/staff needing to consult with our office about a student, please feel free to use our consultation time, Fridays at 10:00. In addition we offer our daily 1:00 crisis hour for students as well. Faculty/staff are welcome to call during the 1:00 hour, however a student in crisis will take priority. Please be aware that because of confidentiality we are unable to disclose information about a student without the students written consent. If you would like to speak with us specifically about a student, we encourage you to have them sign an authorization form.
