Seasoned social work and human service practitioners and administrators offer ongoing advice and support to the social work program students and faculty.

Board members were key supporters in such program enhancements as the addition of a third full-time social work faculty member and in the degree change from BA to BSW.

Their many contributions include:

• review courses and curriculum and assist in updating both;
• keep the program in touch with changing initiatives in social welfare;
• share their professional experiences in social work classes;
• serve as field instructors;
• mentor students.
• through their support and intervention, the Social Work and Sociology lab was updated with brand new computers in July 2004
