Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS COC)
Meredith College is accredited by the The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate and masters degrees. The Commission should be contacted only if there is evidence that appears to support an institution's significant non-compliance with a requirement or standard.
American Dietetic Association (ADA)
Meredith has Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics accredited programs at the undergraduate and post-baccalaureate levels. The Didactic Program in Dietetics is accredited by The Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
Meredith also offers a post-baccalaureate Dietetic Internship Certificate Program, accredited by ACEND.
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
The School of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). It is one of only two women's colleges to hold this distinction.Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
The Bachelor of Social Work degree program is accredited by CSWE. The program was reaffirmed by the Council on Social Work Education's Commission on Accreditation (COA).
Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER)
The College's baccalaureate interior design program is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation.
National Association of Schools of Music (NASM)
Meredith's Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music in Music Education, and Master of Music in Performance and Pedagogy are accredited by NASM.
The music education program is also accredited by NCATE and the North Carolina DPI (see below).

National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)
Programs offered by Meredith that lead to teacher licensure at both the initial and advanced teacher preparation levels are accredited by NCATE.

Meredith College's teacher education programs are also approved by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.

American Bar Association (ABA)
Meredith's post-baccalaureate certificate program for legal assistants (the Paralegal Program) is reviewed by the ABA.

North Carolina Teaching Fellows Commission
The Teaching Fellows program at the College is reviewed by the Teaching Fellows Commission.
National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA)
The College's athletic programs are approved by the NCAA. Meredith College is a Division III institution. The NCAA does not make site visits.
