Meredith has been educating women to excel for more than 100 years. During 2009, Meredith earned a new indicator of excellence as the School of Business completed accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Meredith is one of only two women’s colleges in the world to earn this distinction. Much focus was also given to Meredith’s reaffirmation of accreditation, which will be completed in 2010. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, often referred to as SACS, is the accreditation agency that Meredith voluntarily asks to review the institution and attest to its quality.
