In this science session for grades 3-5, participants will learn how to use inexpensive, hands-on/minds-on activities to successfully incorporate engineering principles and the Common Core Essential Standards into their Science curriculum.

Common Core State Standards Mathematics Grade 6-8

This course builds upon the 6-8 TAP Math and MMSI sessions from summer 2012. Problem solving and standards of mathematical practice are highlighted, There will be an emphasis on web resources as part of this session.

Leaders
K-8

Leadership for Planning District-wide Mathematics Implementation
This course is for Central Office supervisors and district lead teachers. It focuses on planning and supporting implementation of quality mathematics programs, strategies for implementing Standards of Mathematical Practice, and issues of leadership for mathematics.
