Beyond Belief Film Showing on September 11

Meredith College will host a showing of the documentary “Beyond Belief” on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011, at 7 p.m. in Kresge Auditorium. This event is free and open to the public.

“Beyond Belief” tells the story of two courageous women whose lives were changed after their husbands were killed in the attacks of 9/11. The women decided to go to Afghanistan where the terrorists were trained. Their goal was to meet war widows there, to try to understand the lives of those women, and to try to understand why it happened.

Visit www.principlepictures.com/beyondbelief to learn more about the film.

Learn More: After viewing “Beyond Belief,” hear more of the story from filmmaker Beth Murphy when she visits Meredith College in October. Murphy’s lecture will be held October 18 at 7 p.m. in Jones Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Both events are sponsored by the Meredith College Convocation Committee and the Broder-Wallace Endowment Fund.
