Meredith College Hurricane Relief Response Meredith College campus sustained no lasting damage from Hurricane Irene, which caused an afternoon power outage, but no major leaks or flooding. While the Triangle area experienced minor effects from Hurricane Irene, many coastal communities were significantly affected. The Meredith College community would like to offer support to students, faculty and staff who were affected by the hurricane.
