The “Critical Strategies for Critical Times” professional development conference is designed to enhance the students’ professional development as future educators. Presenters in 23 workshop sessions will be showcasing best practices and instructional strategies from their personal experiences.

Co-sponsored by the Teaching Fellows programs at Meredith, NC State and Campbell University, the event is the first of its kind at Meredith. Students from Meredith, NC State, Campbell and North Carolina Central University are scheduled to attend.

North Carolina Teacher of the Year Jennifer Facciolini, '98, a Meredith College Teaching Fellows alumna, is the featured speaker at the keynote dinner on Friday night.
