Students, Faculty Share News from London Students participating in Meredith’s study abroad program in the United Kingdom have nearly completed this summer’s program. Twelve students are taking part in the London-based program. The group will return on July 28. The program provides students with an introduction to the culture of the United Kingdom with a focus on arts and government. Students and Professor of English Garry Walton, who is teaching a course called “Literary London: Shakespeare & Company,” are writing journals about their experiences. Along with Walton, program faculty members are Professor of Theatre Catherine Rodgers, who is teaching Arts, Artifacts and Culture, and Assistant Professor of Mathematics Emily Burkhead, who is teaching Math in Society.
