Advising & Registration events allow students to have a confirmed schedule prior to coming to campus in August, more time at orientation for other campus activities, and a chance to become acquainted with classmates, faculty and the academic environment before orientation. The day includes placement assessments and an afternoon meeting with each student’s faculty advisor and student advisor to plan the first semester and register for classes. During breaks in the day, students will have a chance to get their cam cards, audition for Chorale, and learn more about life at Meredith.

A schedule has been planned for parents as well. Parents will spend their morning in sample classes, get to know one another over lunch, and talk to parents of current students in the afternoon.

Two additional Advising & Registration events are scheduled for Saturday, June 26, and Saturday, July 17, 2010.
