The full tournament lasted four weeks, with the championship decided on April 26. The White team went into the finals undefeated, which meant they had to be beaten twice in order to be defeated. The Black team won the first game of the evening, and the second game ended in a 0-0 tie.

The championship was decided in sudden death overtime, which end with a win by the White team. The winning team is shown in the photo at right.
