The panel will include speakers representing a range of perspectives on school assignment, with emphasis on the ethical implications of current and proposed policies.

Speakers will include representatives from Wake Educational Partnership, Wake Schools Alliance (WSCA), NAACP, as well as involved and concerned parents. Scheduled to attend are the following:
•Crystal R. Chambers, J.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Educational Leadership, ECU;
•Ann Denlinger, Ed.D., president, Wake Educational Partnership;
•Shila K. Nordone, Ph.D., Research Assistant Professor, Molecular Biomedical; Sciences Department College of Veterinary Medicine (WSCA);
•Tom Rhodes, Minister, Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh; and
•Amina Turner, Executive Director NC NAACP.

Professor of Education Mary Kay Delaney, head of the Meredith College Department of Education and a former principal, will moderate. The event is free and open to the public.
