Bee Hive to Increase Green Product Offerings Meredith’s Bee Hive Café is increasing the variety of environmentally friendly products offered in its convenience items and grocery aisles. The product inventory was developed using results from a survey in which students were asked what environmentally friendly products they’d most like to purchase on campus. Items that will be offered include laundry supplies, personal hygiene items such as toilet paper and tissues, and grocery products like organic macaroni and cheese, grape juice, peanut butter, and condiments such as ketchup and mustard. The new products are available starting this week. This is an effort by the Meredith College Sustainability and Campus Dining Services to support one of the Greenprint goals for Meredith College to model environmental responsibility in daily operations.
