Events Rescheduled Because of Inclement Weather With the forecast calling for potential inclement weather, several Meredith College events on the calendar for this weekend have been rescheduled. Please note: Meredith College classes on Friday, Jan. 29 are being held as scheduled. Click here to view the College’s inclement weather policy. The following updates were available as of 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29, 2010: •Teaching Fellows Rising to the Challenge Event: rescheduled for Saturday, February 6. •Leadership Conference for High School Women: rescheduled for Saturday, February 13. •Meredith vs. Averett University basketball: rescheduled for February 18. •Meredith College Studio Day of Dance: rescheduled for Saturday, February 13. •Meredith Jazz and Tap Company dance concert has been rescheduled for February 4-5. •Alumnae Art Exhibition Opening Reception: rescheduled for February 28. •"Desire and Otherness" Opening Reception & Lecture by photographer Titus Brooks Heagins: rescheduled for February 7. •An Artful Affair, scheduled for Friday, January 29, has been postponed until Friday, February 26. •Wake Literacy Council event: rescheduled for February 20. Kaplan is not prepared to make a decision at this time regarding the testing or preparation classes scheduled at Meredith. There are multiple ways of obtaining the timeliest information of the status of each class. An update will be available by noon on Friday, January 29.
