Sue Monk Kidd & Ann Kidd Taylor Event Oct. 4 Quail Ridge Books & Music will present an event featuring Sue Monk Kidd and Ann Kidd Taylor on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 3 p.m. in Meredith College’s Jones Auditorium. Sue Monk Kidd and Ann Kidd Taylor will read from “Traveling With Pomegranates,” a poignant and compelling dual memoir by mother and daughter about the journey they undertook to redefine and rediscover themselves. The presentation will be followed by a book signing. Sue Monk Kidd is the author of “The Secret Life of Bees,” a book club favorite, as well as “The Dance of the Dissident Daughter.” Public tickets are $5, or free with the purchase of “Traveling With Pomegranates.” Public tickets may be purchased in advance at Quail Ridge Books & Music.
