Meredith College Dance Works April 24-26 Dance Works, the annual spring concert produced by the Meredith College dance program, will feature work by guest artist Joan Nicholas-Walker, faculty member Carol Finley, alumna Kaitlin Briggs, and 15 Meredith students. The schedule for this year is Program A on April 24 at 8 p.m. and April 25 at 3 p.m., Program B on April 25 at 8 p.m. and April 26 at 3 p.m., with a Gala Performance on April 26 at 8 p.m. All performances will be held in Jones Auditorium. Program A is a mix of ballet, clogging, hip-hop, and modern by Joan Nicholas-Walker and students Kristina Blakely-Orgias, Brenda Burton, Aleah Ham, Lacy Lowder, Matney Murad, Natasha Randolph, Amy Sapp and Brittany Troutman. Program B is a mix of ballet, hip-hop, and modern by Carol Finley, Kaitlin Briggs and students Katie Brown, MK Cranford, Ashley Gibbs, Aleah Ham, Naomi Mesa, Natarsha Sanders, Jodie Saunders and Ashley Spears. The Gala performance features adjudicated highlights of both programs with work by Briggs, Brown, Finley, Ham, Murad, Nicholas-Walker, Sanders, Saunders and Spears.
