Meet the Candidates Tonight Organizers of "Meredith Votes," a student-led, campus-wide voter education, registration and Election Day turnout effort, are hosting a "Meet the Candidates" Forum on tonight, Oct. 16, 2008 at during dinner hours in Belk Dining Hall. Campaigns for all races in Meredith College's district have been invited to send representatives to the event. More than 40 candidates or campaign representatives are expected. Students will have an opportunity to ask questions of the candidates and campaign representatives. In addition to the “Meet the Candidates” event, “Meredith Votes” is sponsoring a debate between Meredith’s College Republicans and College Democrats.
