Meredith to Honor UNC-CH Student Body President Meredith’s Student Government Association (SGA) is sponsoring an effort to honor the life of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Student Body President Eve Carson, who was killed on March 5, 2008. To join in support of the UNC-Chapel Hill community, SGA asks that all Meredith College faculty, staff and students wear Carolina blue ribbons on Tuesday, March 18, 2008, in remembrance of Eve Carson. The ribbons are also in commemoration of all colleges and universities that have been affected by violent acts and tragedies on their campus. Ribbons will be made available in the first floor lobby of the Cate Center on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18. In an email to students, Meredith’s SGA also encouraged students to attend UNC-Chapel Hill’s memorial service for Carson. The memorial will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. in the Dean E.
