Meredith to Compete in Second Annual NCICU Ethics Bowl Meredith College will field a team for the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities (NCICU) Second Annual Ethics Bowl competition. This year’s competition, with a focus on “Ethics in Communications,” will be held February 8-9, 2013. The event will be held at Campbell University School of Law in downtown Raleigh and will feature students from 18 independent colleges and universities from across the state. Meredith team members are Marlena Brown, ’15, Ashley Hall, ’15, Amy Hruby, ’13, Alissa Jording, ’15, Sydney Maxwell, ’15 , Roxanne McPherson, ’16, Mary Rawls, ’13, and Mollie Schrull, ’14. Campus Coordinators for Meredith are Assistant Professor of Religious and Ethical Studies Steven Benko and Director of Student Leadership and Service Cheryl Jenkins. Schedule of Competition
The debates will be scored by a panel of three judges that include business and community leaders from across the state. The teams will be evaluated on the quality of their argument, research, presentation style and moral theory. Each round will be facilitated by moderators who also are business and community leaders in North Carolina. About the NCICU Ethics Bowl
