Personal Statement

I was born in San Antonio Texas, but grew up in Denver Colorado. As an adult, I have lived in Colorado, California, Texas, Utah, and Maryland but have happily called North Carolina home for the last 30 years. I was a residential real estate broker for many years before finding my second home in the library.

I have two grown sons, 2 great daughters in law, and three precious grandchildren. I enjoy traveling with my husband of 46 years, gardening, quilting, cooking, reading, vacationing at the beach, and spending as much time as possible with my family.
