ProQuest Research Databases (more info)

Description: Access a collection of databases that supports a wide range of general and academic subjects. Many articles are peer reviewed and available in full text. You can search multiple Proquest databases simultaneously, select a specific subject collection, or select an individual database title. By default your search will search multiple databases.

Description: Provides access to over 20 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE and additional life science journals and books. PubMed also provides access to additional relevant Web sites and links to the other NCBI molecular biology resources. Coverage is world-wide but most records are from English language sources.

Description: PubMed Central (PMC) is a digital archive for peer reviewed primary research reports in the life sciences. Description: The Web of Science provides access to the three major citation indexes: Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Index. It enables users to search current and retrospective multidiscciplinary information from approximately 8,500 high impact research journals. These multidisciplinary databases may be searched independently or in any combination. Web of Science also provides cited reference searching. With cited reference searching users can follow a particular author or cited reference forward in time to find more current articles. Web of Science can be cross searched on the ISI Web of Knowledge interface with Medlilne (1950 - date).

Description: eBook Collection from EBSCOhost provides access to full-text scholarly, reference and professional eBooks (electronic books) from leading university, academic and professional publishers. These eBooks are digital versions of print books from a broad range of subject areas and topics. In many cases, the eBook copy is the only copy of the book owned by the library although in some cases a local print copy is also available.
