Hello, my name is Tiara Adkins. It is my second year at North Carolina Wesleyan College. I am 19 years old and am a psychology and criminal justice major. I am on the school's soccer team and I play on the outside midfield.I plan to pursue a career in the United States Army as soon as I graduate.
With my two majors I want to be an investigator for the Criminal Investigation Department. There I will be able to be involved with murders, rapes, or any felony that involves the military. I will also be traveling overseas to military bases in order to investigate the war crimes that are currently going on in other countries.
Before I came to Wesleyan College I lived in Richlands, North Carolina. This is a very small town right outside of Jacksonville. Jacksonville is one of the largest growing cities in the United States. This is because it has a military base right in the center of it called Camp Lejeune. I have always been in a military family and love moving around to new places. This is why I have also chosen to become a part of the military so that I will also be able to see different places and different cultures.
I am taking this class to learn more about life in Kenya, because like I said I want to learn about all of the cultures in the world and the turmoil that might be occurring within them. My goal in life is to help stop these atrocities and make everywhere in the world a better place to live.
