HIV/AIDS TRAINING CONSORTIUM
Description: In cooperation with students and faculty at four universities in the United States, Kenyatta University is part of an experimental HIV/AIDS training consortium. The other universities are University of South Carolina – Sumter, Meredith University, North Carolina Wesleyan University, and Greensboro Technical Community College. As part of this training consortium you will interact with students and faculty at the U.S. universities and students and faculty at K.U. as a means to understand further the science and social consequences of this epidemic.
Other benefits include a Certificate of Completion that will recognize your participation and contributions to the consortium, and a week-end Retreat that will focus on various aspects of the HIV/AIDS crisis.
Reference resources will be provided. We shall also provide email expenses for interaction with your U.S. counterparts via the internet.
