My name is Nicki Hiatt. I am a senior at Meredith, and I am double majoring in mathematics and Spanish.
I am from Mount Airy, North Carolina, and after graduation, I hope to return there to teach high school math.
Currently, I am very excited about finishing up my classes at Meredith and doing my student teaching at East Wake High School in the spring.
On a personal note, I just got married on August 11th, and I am thoroughly enjoying married life with my new husband.
I am taking a class on Africa in order to fulfill a requirement for our honors department. Although the material does not directly relate to my majors, I find the subject very interesting, and I hope to learn a lot about AIDS and its effects.
