My name is Meredith Alexander and I am a junior at Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina. I am a Spanish major pursuing a K-12 teaching licensure. As a result of my major, I have taken very few science classes in the last three years. However, the content of this course intrigues me. I am excited about the opportunity to learn about a subject that is quite unfamiliar to me!
I love to travel and have studied in three countries and visited two others in my previous two years at Meredith College.
Outside of school and my love for travel, I am a sports fanatic! I love most every sport and enjoy playing as well. I grew up playing competitive soccer for over 10 years and I certainly identify with the international soccer frenzy. I spend a great deal of my time outdoors playing sports or just relaxing.why stay inside?
I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC and was raised in a devoted Christian household. I have a younger sister who is now a senior in high school and will hopefully be arriving at Meredith College next fall.
