My name is Jerethia Blake; I go by the name Recey.
I am a senior here at Meredith College.
My major is Sociology, I chose this major because I realize that I really want to change the world but in order to do that I know that I will have to change my community.
I became interested in HIV/AIDS at St. Augustine's College before I transferred here to Meredith. There I was trained to become a peer educator on HIV/AIDS and since then I have been very passionate about the epidemic.
The reason I chose to take this class is so that I can know a little more about the biological side of HIV/AIDS in hopes that it would prepare me for whatever career that I chose to do in this area.
I hope one day to have my own non-profit organization and to be able to travel around the world to help with the epidemic in other countries.
