My name is Carly Poole.

I am a 21 year old senior at Meredith College. I am majoring in political science with a concentration in law and justice and a minor in professional writing and media presentation.

I plan on attending law school in the fall of 2007.

My hobbies include singing, going to the beach, shopping, karaoke, and traveling. I also enjoy watching television shows such as Greys Anatomy, and Everybody Loves Raymond.

I currently live off campus in Garner but I am originally from Salemburg, North Carolina. However, when going through Salemburg you better not blink because you may miss it. It is a one stop light town where everyone knows everyone's names.

I am a member of several clubs on campus such as: College Republicans, History and Politics, La Tertulia, and PHI. Whenever I am not in class, participating in extra curricular activities and doing homework, I like to hang out with my boyfriend, other friends, and family.

Someday I would love to travel abroad I have traveled all over the United States but I want to be able to go to other countries to experience different cultures.

I am excited that we have the opportunity to interact and communicate with individuals from Kenya, increase awarness of and learn more about HIV/AIDS and it's effects on many lives and communities.
