A During the annual open enrollment period (generally in November or early December) or within 30 days of a qualifying event.
Q What is a qualifying event?
A A qualifying event allows you to make a change in your health or other benefit plan at a time other than the open enrollment period. Examples of qualifying events are a marriage, divorce, birth/adoption, change of employment for a spouse or other situation where benefit needs change unexpectedly. If you experience a change in status that you feel may qualify, please contact the Office of Human Resources within 30 days.
