GRE Resources

Posted June 1, 2011: Registration for the GRE® revised General Test is now open. It's time to get ready!


If you require GRE scores before November, you must take the current GRE® General Test before August. This way you will receive your scores prior to November 1 deadlines.


If you don’t require GRE scores until after November, then you can take the GRE revised General Test. You will experience the new test-taker friendly design that allows you to move back and forth within a section and more. Plus, if you register to take the test in August or September 2011 will save 50% on your test fee.

All applicants for Meredith’s MS in Nutrition Programs are required to submit recent GRE (Graduate Record Examination) scores. GRE scores should be sent directly to Meredith College. Our GRE code is 5410.

Preparing for the Graduate Record Examination® (GRE)

The GRE General Test measures critical thinking, analytical writing, verbal reasoning, and quantitative reasoning skills and is administered by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). The test is offered most weekdays and weekends year round and generally takes 2 ½ hours.
