Every class I’ve taken at Meredith has required some kind of outside work with children, which lets me immediately use what I learn. I’ve really enjoyed being able to apply the strategies I’ve learned, see how they work, and then come back to class and share the results with other students.
I’m a kindergarten teacher, and even though I plan to stay in the classroom, I wanted to study an area that would offer new growth opportunities down the road. Getting my M.Ed. in reading is applicable right now, but it also opens doors for my future.”
