MBA's Benefit from Bloomberg BusinessWeek B-School Connection
To keep MBA's up-to-date with critical financial and business news, the Meredith MBA program provides each student with the B-School Connection from Bloomberg BusinessWeek. With the B-School Connection program, every MBA student receives a print subscription to Bloomberg BusinessWeek to enhance MBA coursework with real-world news and information about global business and technology. In addition, students receive access to BusinessWeek.com, including detailed information on public and private companies and full access to searchable archives, and students can also download the magazine to their iPad for free.
To fully integrate the current business topics into the MBA program, each faculty also receives the benefits of the B-School Connection. Doug Wakeman, Acting Dean and Professor of Business, says about Bloomberg Businessweek, "it's local, it's global, it's macro, it's micro, and it’s all relevant. Every time I read it, I learn things that I can use in my classes."
The B-School Connection is a component of LEaD at Meredith, an MBA program concept to infuse leadership, ethics, and development throughout the MBA student experience.
