Financing your MBA

Affordable Tuition

The Meredith MBA program offers an exceptional academic experience at an affordable cost. The current tuition is $709 per credit hour, or $21,270 for the total program ($29,778 if all foundations courses are required.) Many companies encourage employees to seek advanced degrees, and often pay part or all of their tuition expenses. However, additional assistance is available if needed.

Loans

Graduate students seeking to receive loan funding must begin the application process by filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting the following link: http://fafsa.ed.gov. All students who complete the FAFSA and are fully admitted into a Meredith graduate program are automatically qualified to receive up to $20,500 per year in federal Stafford loans.

All federal Stafford loans have a fixed interest rate of 6.8%, and no payments are due until six months after graduation as long as a student remains enrolled at least half time. If a student wishes to borrow more than $20,500 per year, a student may apply for a Graduate PLUS loan through the Department of Education. To find out how to apply for federal Stafford loans and Graduate PLUS loans, please visit our student loans page. If you have any questions, please contact the Financial Assistance Office at 919-760-8565 or email at finaid@meredith.edu.

Scholarships

The following merit scholarships provide financial assistance to enrolled, degree-seeking students in the Master of Business Administration program.  Scholarship applications can be mailed to interested students. Please contact an MBA recruiter for more information at mba@meredith.edu.

The Shearon Harris Scholarship Fund was established in memory of Shearon Harris, a Meredith trustee, chairman of the Board of Associates and an exemplary community leader. His family established the fund to express a commitment to church-related higher education to perpetuate his interest in Meredith College students.

The Wyford Scholarships are made possible by a bequest from Louise Ledford Wyatt, a Meredith graduate of the class of 1930. The Wyford Scholarship Fund was established by her husband, Guy E. Wyatt; her mother, Bess J. Hord; and her father, John Ferris Ledford.

Payment Plan

Pay your tuition bills in monthly installments, interest-free, with the Tuition Management Systems Payment Plan. Monthly payments are easier on your household budget and they can save you money by reducing the amount you need to borrow and by letting you keep funds longer in interest-bearing accounts. Other than a minimal annual enrollment fee, no other charges are incurred when you select the monthly automatic bank draft option. For more information about this plan, click here.
