Do I need to take the GMAT to apply?
Yes. We require that all applicants submit a GMAT score as a part of their application, along with official transcripts, current resume, essay responses, recommendations and application form. GRE scores are also accepted. What is the required GMAT score?
The GMAT is one of several important pieces of a comprehensive package that is reviewed by the admissions committee. A minimum score of 400 is required.
Do I need to have work experience?
Yes. Applicants must have a minimum of two years professional, full-time work experience. Typically, our MBA students have between 8 and 10 years of work experience.
Can I get my MBA if I don't have an undergraduate degree in business?
Absolutely. More than 60 percent of our students have undergraduate degrees in disciplines other than business, including liberal arts, biology and communications.
How long will it take for me to complete the program?
That depends upon which coursework you completed as an undergraduate or graduate student. Many students who have undergraduate degrees in business or accounting disciplines finish the program in 30 hours. Students who need a base of business knowledge take additional courses called Foundations.
What are Foundations courses?
These courses offer the base of knowledge you'll need to succeed in the MBA courses. All students in these classes already have an undergraduate degree and are working toward their MBA.
Do I need to wait until I'm done with my Foundations courses to apply?
No. The admissions committee can review your application before you complete your Foundations courses. You may complete the Foundations courses knowing that you have been accepted as a degree-seeker to the MBA program.
Do you have financial aid and scholarships?
Yes. Our Financial Assistance office can help you apply for federal loans for your graduate education. You will need to fill out the FAFSA to determine the assistance that is available for you. Scholarships also are available for strong program applicants.
