The Meredith Fund is a testament to the power of many working together. It provides essential unrestricted funds that allow the College to address the most pressing needs on campus—priorities such as student aid, faculty development and facility maintenance.

This year, The Meredith Fund goal is $770,000 with an alumnae giving participation goal of 23%. We still need to raise an additional $483,374 by June 30, 2010. And need an additional 3,138 alumnae to give to reach our goal of 23%.

Last year, alumnae who gave between $100 and $250 raised a total of $116,957 for The Meredith Fund! Your gift, when combined with others, makes a great impact on the College.

The Meredith Fund is going greener and there are several ways you can help us in this endeavor. Below, please find a couple of ways you can help The Meredith Fund save administrative costs while helping the environment at the same time:

• Update your email address with the College by contacting Jane Mitchell at mitchelj@meredith.edu or (919) 760-8060.
  
• If you usually make your gift in the spring, make a pledge between July and December. You won’t have to fulfill your pledge until the usual time but will avoid receiving mailings. We will simply email or mail you a reminder in the spring.
  
• Make a recurring gift online. With a monthly gift of $20, you can have a greater impact on Meredith while minimizing the impact on your finances and time. By giving online, you also eliminate use of paper checks and save on postage. A gift of $84 a month adds up to a gift of $1,000 a year!
