Meredith College will hold a Flu Vaccine Clinic in Carroll Hall, Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. The vaccines are available first come, first served.
Meredith students, faculty and staff should bring their health insurance card and photo ID if they have any of the following insurance plans:
• Blue Cross Blue Shield Student health insurance Meredith offers
• Blue Cross Blue Shield plans from all states in the USA including our employee plan
• Medicare Part B
• Medicare Advantage Plans (must say PFFS “Private Fee for Service” on the card)
• Aetna
• SummaCare
• Humana Gold Choice (PFFS) and Humana Medicare (PFFS Only)
• Todays Options
• National Union Fire Insurance (Pearce and Pearce – College health plans)
• Universal Health Care
Meredith students, 17 years or age or younger, must have a parent or guardian present. Family members with the above mentioned health insurance plans may also receive flu vaccine at Meredith. Children ages 4 - 17 are eligible but must have a parent or guardian present to receive the vaccine.
The flu vaccine costs $30 unless you have preventive benefits with an insurance company listed above. The Meredith student health insurance plan and the faculty/staff plan with BCBS covers the flu vaccine at no out of pocket cost.
