The beginning of the semester is one of the greatest times of the year. Why? Because that's when elections happen. If you plan to run or are interested in running, you need to know the following dates and details.
Mandatory Elections Info Session (Kresge): Jan 15th: 5.30pm, Jan 16th: 5pm, Jan 18th: 10am.
Elections Filing Week : starts Jan 22nd: 8 a.m.
Ends Jan 30th: 5 p.m. (You will be provided with more info about this at the info session- which is why you absolutely need to be there).
Campaign week: starts Feb 4th: 8am. (No campaigning should occur before this date and time).
Speeches (Kresge): Feb 8th: 10 a.m.
Election poll opens!: Feb 11th: 8 a.m. to Feb 12th: 5 p.m.
